Christy Lyons Hopkins, PHR
CEO & Principal Consultant

Christy made her way into HR consulting and recruiting in a roundabout way. After graduating Northwestern University in 2004, Christy went into banking and investments from 2004-2008, creating a strong business foundation to her career. From 2008-2013, Christy cultivated her love of people and created her own corporate wellness business. She realized that she wanted to merge her love of business with her love of helping people, and thus completed her Master's degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School and gained her PHR license to transition into the field. After working in-house as an HR Manager at 2 small businesses where she played more of a temporary consultant role than an FTE, Christy saw a huge opportunity in the small business, startup, venture capital, and private equity markets as being underserved by traditional human capital consulting firms and recruiters. This combined with her finance knowledge and experience as an entrepreneur created 4 Point Consulting. She is currently the CEO & Principal Consultant at the business and continues to work hand in hand with many clients. 



Angela Lindberg
Senior Consultant & Project Manager

After working in the chemical and mental health field for many years, Angela found herself eager to help companies run more effectively and made her way into Business Psychology. From there, she fell in love with her ability to seek and place top talent in positions they will find just as rewarding as her own. Currently, as a Doctoral Candidate and Business Psychology Professional, Angela is qualified in implementing psychological principals to industry with the purpose of helping leaders and organizations solve problems and efficiently manage operations. This includes extensive coursework and practical experience in Personnel, Talent Management and Organizational Development. Throughout her career and education, Angela's attention to detail and passion for organizational improvement have successfully enhanced the performance of several businesses from specialty pharmacy to police and fire.  She has even tied in talent acquisition to her doctoral dissertation! Angela has her Master's in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and is a Doctoral Candidate in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. When not working, you can find Angela at the ballet barre or a nearby running path.



Katy Flatau
Senior Talent Manager & Project Manager

Katy is the Senior Talent Manager at 4 Point Consulting thanks to her background working on "both sides" of the talent acquisition table.  In addition to her own 15-year journey successfully navigating corporate America, she is also certified and working as an executive and career coach since 2010 and boasts over 10 years of interviewing, hiring, and performance management experience from her time at Nielsen to her present role at 4 Point.   Katy's role at 4 Point consists of all things talent management, including recruitment, screening talent, talent development, project management, and onboarding.  Her own experience with moving up the food chain, navigating layoffs, waiting out acquisitions and attempting to find the balance between just traveling for work and actually living in a hotel room allows her to identify the right talent for the right position and assist clients strategically on making the best hire.  She engages with our clients and candidates on achieving their professional and personal goals, whether that means building and expanding their business, refining their pool of skilled talent or navigating the challenges that come with managing a growing team. 



Sam Stone
Senior Recruiting Expert

Sam has 10 years of recruiting experience with various roles and industries. He has been very successful in sourcing and filling both permanent and contract roles. Sam has earned 7 AIR Recruiting certifications including the Elite Certified Recruitment Expert (ECRE) and his specialty is candidate sourcing. His passion is finding those ideal passive candidates using advanced searching techniques. Prior to recruiting, Sam spent several years in supply chain management and management consulting and also is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS CSCP). Sam received his BS in Mathematics from SUNY Oneonta and a MBA (Finance and Supply Chain Management) from Syracuse University. He splits time between the US and Budapest, Hungary, with his wife and family.

Lindsay Lee
Research Associate

Motivated by her love of researching and uncovering meaning behind data, Lindsay completed her Master of Library and Information Studies degree in 2012. After graduation, she began her career in librarianship, gaining experience in both public and law libraries. Here she helped plan training programs, conduct research, and manage library resources. After four years, she transitioned into marketing research where she could dig into exciting research-focused projects. Now she is excited to be a part of the 4 Point team where she can embrace her strengths of working with people and using her research skills to help clients succeed by finding top talent for them and using her data & research skills to answer all of their talent & HR questions. Lindsay was born and raised on the east coast of Canada, later moving to Toronto. After meeting her husband, she relocated to Chicago. In her free time she enjoys baking cookies, reading comic books, playing guitar, and spending time with her husband and son.



Brian Montijo
Associate Consultant

Brian believes in accomplishing organizational goals without hindering the quality of life of employees. His work experience in corporate settings and small companies, along with his educational background in psychology and research methodology has cultivated his analytical skills, his understanding of behavior in the workplace, and his passion for discovering the best solution for every client. Brian’s experience includes survey development, analysis of employee engagement data (quantitative and qualitative), on-boarding procedures, job analysis, the development and implementation of organization-wide internship and mentoring programs, and full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles and industries. Brian is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University. He is an active member of various industry related associations and is currently an Associate Consultant at 4 Point Consulting..


Beth Smith
Associate Consultant

Beth is committed to achieving results and supporting organizations to effectively meet their individual needs. She has spent the last four years assisting individuals, teams, and leaders achieve personal and organizational success. Her 4 years of experience include both the university and private sectors. Her breadth includes includes creating a work-life program from the ground up, recruiting, screening, survey development and assessment, policy guide writing, tracking key recruiting metrics, onboarding, project management, job analyses, and developing employment standard operating procedures (SOP). She is currently an Associate Consultant at 4 Point Consulting and works on technical recruiting, sourcing, screening, proposal and handbook writing, training and survey development, project management, and other projects as needed for clients. She resides in Chicago and is working on her Master of Arts in Industrial & Organizational (I-O) Psychology at Roosevelt University, where she will graduate magna cum laude this May.



Giya George
Associate Consultant

Giya George began her career in the Banking industry and transitioned into Human Resource Management when she realized that real success lies in finding contentment in the work that you love. Giya holds Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University. She has been interested in Human Resources early in her career, when her knowledge and passion for HR came together, the level of engagement, fulfillment and, ultimately, contribution, raised exponentially. Giya brings the perspectives and lessons learned from the previous position she held as HR Coordinator, she has hands-on experience in coordinating HR initiatives including performance management, recruiting, sourcing, screening, job analysis, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, personnel file audits and more. She enjoys working with clients to support their goals and develop or enhance their HR practices. As an Associate Consultant, Giya is looking forward to continuing building relationships with clients and master HR functions alongside the team at 4 Point Consulting.



Stephanie Geistel
Operations & Recruiting Associate

Stephanie’s platform for helping others and improving lives began intersecting with Christy’s in 2012 when she was hired to work in Christy’s yoga studio as a yoga and fitness trainer. It was at this point in her life, she knew her passions were rooted in interfacing with people, so despite having completed a Visual Communications degree at Harrington College of Design in 2010, she forged forward in the Health and Fitness industry as both a trainer and an entrepreneur.

Following a boom in the industry in 2013, Stephanie became a Certified Corporate Wellness Consultant through the Corporate Health and Wellness Association (CWHA) and spent five years working with a small book of clients. She’s had the experience of working with start-ups and highly-established companies including Webmd, LinkedIn, and the major online lending company Enova. Her goal and primary task has always been to improve workforce productivity and performance through creation and implementation of employee (wellness) perks and specialized programming. It was this experience that led her to pursue her position as Administrative & Recruiting Associate within 4 Point Consulting.

In her spare time, she loves long-distance cycling, teaching yoga and fitness classes, and cuddles from her Labrador named Logan.

Swanie Brooks
HR & Recruiting Intern

Swanie is a genuine “people person.” She found her passion for training, developing, mentoring, and improving employee engagement and satisfaction after taking the lead as advocate for her student advisement team; working strategically with senior management to implement a new quality assurance structure and training for both new hires and current colleagues. She is a firm believer in hands-on leadership and teamwork. Working in the legal field for several years, she moved up quickly within the ranks from administrative assistant to account manager. She moved on from that field to leverage her soft skills and love for helping others by accepting a more challenging role within higher education, quickly becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in student finance, academics, compliance, and quality assurance. Swanie brings with her years of experience working with The Chicago Bar Association, Chamberlain College of Nursing, DeVry University, and DeVry Education Group. Swanie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from DeVry University and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Human Resource Management with a specialization in Organizational Learning and Performance from Colorado State University. When not working or attending classes, Swanie loves spending quality time with her family and their bossy cat, Peanut Butter.
