Christy Lyons Hopkins, PHR
CEO & Principal Consultant

Christy made her way into HR consulting and recruiting in a roundabout way. After graduating Northwestern University in 2004, Christy went into banking and investments as many new grads did back then. Though she enjoyed the business aspect of banking, she found her heart wasn't in her career and abruptly changed directions into wellness and yoga in 2008. From 2008 until 2013, Christy created her own corporate wellness business and found great fulfillment in helping people. It was during this time that she realized she wanted to merge her love of business with her love of helping people, and she then went to complete her Master's degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology with a specialization in HR from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as well as receive her PHR license in 2013. 

After working in-house as an HR Manager at 2 Chicago businesses, Christy began to see a huge opportunity to help business owners (like her former yoga studio owner self) and use her HR knowledge, education, and recruiting experience while helping business owners and their employees succeed. This combined with her finance knowledge and experience as an entrepreneur creates a winning combination that understands her clients needs and their budgets.

When not working, Christy lives in Chicago with her husband and their black lab mix Lydia and is passionate about yoga & fitness, the outdoors, traveling, and cooking. 

Angela Lindberg
Senior Consultant

As a Doctoral Candidate and Business Psychology Professional, Angela is qualified in implementing psychological principals to industry with the purpose of helping leaders and organizations solve problems and efficiently manage operations. This includes extensive coursework and practical experience in Personnel, Talent Management and Organizational Development. Throughout her career and education, Angela's attention to detail and passion for organizational improvement have successfully enhanced the performance of several businesses.  

From job analysis and performance appraisal to staff training and project management, Angela is capable of wearing a lot of different hats, which is where she brings great value to the 4 Point Consulting team. Angela has her Master's in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and is a Doctoral Candidate in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has impressive experience working with The Chicago Fire Department, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, and several healthcare companies and small businesses. She originally hails from Minnesota, where she did her undergrad at Augsburg College, and currently resides in Chicago. When not working, Angela is an avid runner and has caught the half marathon distance bug.

Sam Stone
Senior Recruiting Expert

Sam has 10 years of recruiting experience with various roles and industries. He has been very successful in sourcing and filling both permanent and contract roles. Sam has earned 7 AIR Recruiting certifications including the Elite Certified Recruitment Expert (ECRE) and his specialty is candidate sourcing. His passion is finding those ideal passive candidates using advanced searching techniques. Prior to recruiting, Sam spent several years in supply chain management and management consulting and also is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS CSCP). Sam received his BS in Mathematics from SUNY Oneonta and a MBA (Finance and Supply Chain Management) from Syracuse University. He splits time between the US and Budapest, Hungary, with his wife and family. 

Katy Flatau
Senior Talent Manager

Certified as a professional executive and career coach since 2010, Katy is the Senior Talent Manager at 4 Point Consulting thanks to her vast experience on "both sides" of the talent acquisition table. She works with clients, candidates and businesses on identifying and achieving their professional and personal goals, whether that means building and expanding their business, refining their pool of skilled talent or navigating the challenges that come with managing a growing team.


After completing her degree in Communications & Journalism at the University of Minnesota, Katy spent 15 years in corporate America, working in the media research industry first as an account manager and then as a regional sales manager.  She has personal experience with moving up the food chain, navigating layoffs, waiting out acquisitions and attempting to find the balance between just traveling for work and actually living in a hotel room. Katy's role at 4 Point consists of all things talent management, including recruitment, screening talent, talent development, and onboarding. When not working, Katy enjoys  exploring the nearest available mountain range, searching for the perfect Panang curry and collecting ideas for her next podcast interview.

Brian Montijo
Associate Consultant

Brian believes that people make the place. He strives to promote the value of investing in the workforce to accomplish organizational goals without hindering the quality of life of employees. He does not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions and is passionate about conducting organizational assessments to understand the specific needs of every client. His experience includes recruiting, job analysis, advanced statistics, on boarding procedures and the implementation of organization-wide programs across a variety of industries.

A native Puerto Rican, Brian obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico before moving to Houston, where he developed his customer service, sales, and leadership skills. He currently resides in Chicago, where he working on his Master of Arts in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University.

Brian is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is always focused on learning, expanding his areas of expertise, and developing new strategies and processes. When not working, he can be found reading fiction and perusing bookstores, watching movies, and exploring coffee shops with his husband. He also enjoys running and spending time with his black Shepherd mix Ellie.

Beth Smith
Associate Consultant

Beth has a passion for assisting individuals, teams and leaders to achieve personal and organizational success. Whether through selection, conducting assessments or recruiting the right people, she is committed to achieving results and assisting organizations to effectively meet their individual needs. 

With an analytical approach to problem solving, Beth is driven to improve the bottom line by resolving issues that may be hindering productivity, growth, problem-solving abilities and employee morale. Her past experience includes project management, recruiting, analytics such as employee engagement and key performance indicators, employee onboarding, job analysis, and developing standard operating procedures (SOP) for a large state university and a fast-growing mobile marketing firm in Chicago.

Beth grew up in Southern Indiana and moved to Lexington, Kentucky where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors and a minor in Women's Studies/Sociology at Transylvania University. She currently resides in Chicago with her partner and two cats and is working on her Master of Arts in Industrial & Organizational Psychology at Roosevelt University.  When Beth is not working, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and hiking with her friends, yoga, gardening, cooking, and playing the bass.

 

Stephanie Geistel
Administrative & Recruiting Associate

Stephanie’s platform for helping others and improving lives began intersecting with Christy’s in 2012 when she was hired to work in Christy’s yoga studio as a yoga and fitness trainer. It was at this point in her life, she knew her passions were rooted in interfacing with people, so despite having completed a Visual Communications degree at Harrington College of Design in 2010, she forged forward in the Health and Fitness industry as both a trainer and an entrepreneur.

Following a boom in the industry in 2013, Stephanie became a Certified Corporate Wellness Consultant through the Corporate Health and Wellness Association (CWHA) and spent five years working with a small book of clients. She’s had the experience of working with start-ups and highly-established companies including Webmd, LinkedIn, and the major online lending company Enova. Her goal and primary task has always been to improve workforce productivity and performance through creation and implementation of employee (wellness) perks and specialized programming. It was this experience that led her to pursue her position as Administrative & Recruiting Associate within 4 Point Consulting.

In her spare time, she loves long-distance cycling, teaching yoga and fitness classes, and cuddles from her Labrador named Logan.
